Mountain Instructor Award (MIA), BCU Level 3 inland kayak and Level 4 coach open canoe and Level 5 coach sea.
He has paddled and led groups in the Southern Ocean and Chilean Patagonia, over a three month period, the Mediterranean Sea and locations such as Mallorca, Sardinia, Turkey and more recently Sicily, locations throughout the UK, West Coast Canada and above the Arctic Circle, Norway's Lofoten islands. He run Coastal Spirit with his partner Sonja; a North Wales, UK based company which specialises in sea kayak coaching, BCU courses and expeditions.
